How do I sign up?
Download TradingBear from the App Store, open the app, and choose Sign up. You can use email, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
Is TradingBear free?
Yes — the core features are free forever and do not require a credit card. Optional premium features may be offered as in-app subscriptions, processed by Apple.
Which markets are supported?
Stocks, ETFs, forex, futures, and major cryptocurrencies. TradingBear does not execute trades — it provides charting, AI analysis, and a journal to help you make your own decisions.
AI assistant
Is the AI providing financial advice?
No. The AI assistant is an educational and analytical tool. Its output may be incomplete or wrong and should never be treated as financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always verify independently and consult a qualified professional before acting.
Is my AI conversation private?
Your conversations are stored on your account so you can scroll back. We do not use your individual conversations to train public foundation models. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Can I use voice input?
Yes. Tap the microphone icon in the AI chat to dictate. We transcribe the audio to text and discard the recording after transcription, unless you explicitly save it.
Community & safety
How do I report an abusive message?
Press and hold the offending message in any community channel, then tap Report. Our team reviews every report — usually within 24 hours — and takes action when the community rules are violated.
How do I block someone?
Press and hold any message from that user and tap Block user. All of their past and future messages are hidden from your view immediately. Blocking is one-way and private: the other user is not notified.
What content is not allowed?
TradingBear has zero tolerance for harassment, threats, sexualized content involving minors, hate speech, spam, scams, pump-and-dump schemes, market manipulation, malware, or anything else listed in our Community Rules. Severe or repeated violations lead to permanent loss of access.
My report hasn’t been answered — what do I do?
If a report goes unanswered for more than 24 hours, or if the issue is urgent (imminent threat, doxxing, CSAM), email team@tradingbear.app directly.
Account & billing
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in screen tap Forgot password, enter your email, and follow the reset link we send you.
How do I change my email or display name?
Open Settings in the app. Profile fields you can edit yourself appear there. For anything that’s read-only, email team@tradingbear.app.
How do I manage or cancel a subscription?
On your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions and tap TradingBear. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from there at any time. Apple handles all billing; refund requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete my account?
Inside the app, go to Settings → Delete account. Confirm the action and your profile, journal, and personal messaging data will be permanently removed in line with our retention schedule. If you signed in recently — for security reasons — iOS may ask you to re-authenticate before deletion.
You can also email team@tradingbear.app from your registered address to request deletion.
Data & privacy requests
Can I export my data?
Yes. Email team@tradingbear.app from the email address on your account and we will send you a structured, machine-readable export within 30 days.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell or share your personal data for advertising, and we do not run third-party tracking. See the Privacy Policy.
Technical issues
The app crashed or is frozen
Force-quit the app and relaunch it. If the problem continues, please email team@tradingbear.app with your iOS version, device model, and (if possible) a screen recording.
Notifications are not arriving
On your iPhone, open Settings → Notifications → TradingBear and ensure Allow Notifications is on. Also check Focus modes, Do Not Disturb, and any VPNs or ad-blockers that might interfere with push delivery.
